What is Paintless Dent Repair

Many times, you are simply in disbelief that your vehicle is sporting another dent or ding. It just doesnt take much to mar the beautiful cars surface. Anything from an errant rock to an out-of-control shopping buggy can all pose a significant hazard to your cars exterior. One of the best ways to repair these types of dents is with Paintless Dent Repair. However, there are certain requirements for the types of damage this process will be most effective on.

What Types of Damage Can Be Fixed with PDR?

The most common types of damage that are easily repaired with PDR are those that are in a door panel or fender. The dents do not have creasing or painted removed. They also cannot entail the trim area and need to be a certain distance away from the edge of the part.

What Is the PDR Process?

This process sounds rather simple; however, it takes a great deal of training and experience to get it right. The first step in the process is to gain access to the area behind the damage. This involves removing the inside door panel or perhaps removing a tire for access to a wheel well. Then, with the use of several specialized tools, the metal is massaged from behind. Once complete, there is no sign of the repair. Its also much less expensive than a traditional repair in a typical body shop. The entire time to do the repair only takes about one to two hours. If youve ever had your vehicle in a body shop, you know that it can days for your car to get fixed. This not only is inconvenient, you could not have access to your vehicle for days.

Let the Company Come to You

Almost all of the companies that offer this type of service offer mobile service as well. They will come to your location, such as your work or home and take care of the car. Its a very convenient way to get your car looking fantastic again. This is also a great idea for a leased or rented vehicle, too.

In Closing

The key to this process is choosing someone who has the training and experience to effect the repair properly. If not, you could end up with more damage than before and it could be very expensive to fix! For the best results, only use a PDR company that is well established, insured, and bonded.

Peugeot 308 is not a small car!

All the while I had been thinking that the size difference between my405 and my308 doesnt matter me at all. Both cars have ample interior spaces. In fact in the backseat it seems that 405 has more room than the 308.

However when both cars are placed side by side, surprisingly the difference is very clear. Not an optical illusion. 308 is a quantum leap edges up against its sibling 405 in term of size!

Peugeot 308 is even as large if not larger than some executive cars?
Everybody thinks that Peugeot308 is a compact car. Take a look again... Peugeot 308 does not look like a small car at all even compared to Merc E-Class W211 and BMW 7-Series.

Being a hatchback, Peugeot308 is of course shorter but is actually larger in all other dimensions even compared to Mercedes E-Class W124 and all generations of Mercedes C-Class !

How much can the 308 boot actually take?

Look at the mountain of luggage to be thrown into the boot.
Can the small boot take all of them?

Sure it does WITHOUT folding down rear seat! Dont think even Peugeot 407 boot can swallow all these.

Believe it
or NOT
!
To be honest, I bought 308 because Im a family man... 308 does things that my old Merc and Peugeot 405 cant do and perform!

Now it is called Peugeot RCZ

The production model is named as Peugeot RCZ [not Peugeot 308 RC-z] - based on 308RC-z concept though. Its name, RCZ, symbolises this special and unique position within the Peugeot range, as it is the first Peugeot car which does not use the usual zero [x0y] or double zero [x00y] numbering system. The challenge faced by the project team is to complete the development of this new vehicle in a particularly short period of time. The Peugeot RCZ will be revealed for the first time to the public, in its final form at the 63rd Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Peugeot RCZ is expected to go on sale in Spring 2010. Long way to go but long enough to save some money for it..., izinit?

The power plants to include the 1.6-litre turbo petrol from the Mini JCW, tuned to deliver an extra 10bhp, while the entry level will be powered by the 150bhp 1.6-litre THP from the Peugeot 207 GT and a 2-litre HDI diesel offering similar power. Transmission choices will be a manual or automatic, both with six speeds.
Peugeots promising sharp dynamics, too, saying the RCZ is aimed at enthusiasts who are particularly discerning with regards to driving enjoyment. In the UK expected prices for the RH-drive to start at around £20,000, undercutting the base Audi TT by a quarter.
